I've been interested in negotiation since 2018, when I had the chance to see political negotiations up close in the European Parliament.
At Harvard Kennedy School, I trained in negotiation and then spent two years coaching in the school's negotiation courses. In the negotiation clinic at the Kennedy School, I worked with dozens of students on their specific situations. Negotiation was then a key part of my work at the Office of the Government, where I coordinated Czech positions on digital policy for negotiations in the Council of the EU, and at Česko.Digital. Since 2025, I have also worked with Vyjednáváme.cz.
If there's one thing I take from all this, it's that negotiation is a skill you can learn and keep improving. It isn't only about big political negotiations, but also about everyday situations at work and in your personal life. The goal of my consultations and workshops is not just to share useful concepts, but above all to give you space to try things out, so you can put them into practice.
